درباره شهر

Dublin has been the setting for many novels and it’s no wonder since its written tradition goes back to 800 A.D. with The Book of Kells, which is now on show at Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest university. The city is the birthplace for many literary figures such as Joyce, Beckett, Yeats, Shawn and Wilde to name a few. The city’s Georgian elegance blends perfectly with the medieval and modern architecture that gives Dublin its distinctive personality. One can’t deny that Dublin is a cultural city; the UNESCO designated Ireland’s capital as the city of literature in 2010. Culture vultures are also spoilt for choice when it comes to museums and galleries. From the National Museum of Ireland and the National Library to the National Gallery and the cute Little Museum of Dublin containing the lecturn that US president JFK used to address the National Parliament in 1963, there is plenty to absorb. Not forgetting of course the magnificent Dublin Castle dating back to the 13th century. Aside from its glorious riches, the best thing about this city is its people. Dubliners are friendly, warm, surprisingly outgoing and witty, even more so after a couple of pints of Guinness. In its more than 1000 pubs one makes friends easily. It should be mandatory for tourists to spend some time in a pub since it is one of the most memorable experiences of a visit to Ireland. Dublin is as well a young city, it has one of the youngest population in Europe, around half of its inhabitants are believed to be under the age of 25. This fact has made the city vibrant, dynamic, energetic and ambitious. Dublin is overflowing with funky bars, sophisticated restaurants and lively clubs, the epicenter being the buzzing Temple Bar area. Live music is a religion in Ireland and Dublin is its mecca. The city’s live music scene is superb and has given the world a number of global musical superstars from U2 and Westlife to The Script and Sinead O’Connor. Everyone is welcome in this nowadays multicultural city, but beware, Dublin, as its people, is so charismatic and infectious that you may never want to leave.

Guinness Storehouse

روز 1 - Fit-ticket
Come and taste the real Ireland with this fascinating visit to the historic Guinness Storehouse. Ireland's number one visitor attraction is indelibly intertwined with the country’s heritage, culture and image, as you will discover. The experience ends on a high in the Gravity Bar at the top of the storehouse, from where you can enjoy wonderful views of Dublin while sipping a pint of the black stuff (if you’re over 18, of course)!

This robust seven-storey former fermentation plant has been continually updated to create a blend of fascinating industrial tradition with a contemporary edge. Each floor brings to life the rich heritage of Guinness, telling the stout’s story from its origins here at the St James's Gate brewery to its growth as a global brand. When you reach Gravity Bar, as many have said, you have truly reached the top of the world.

Learn the dramatic story of the brew popularly as the ‘black stuff’. Hear all about Arthur Guinness and how he came to found a brand that more than 250 years later is recognised all over the world. Discover what goes into making the stout: the ingredients, the process, the passion. Admire the beautiful and colourful collection of Guinness posters, which have become marketing icons thanks to the popular toucan and slogans such as ‘Guinness is good for you’ and ‘My goodness, my Guinness’.

There are a number of restaurants in the storehouse that specialise in Irish cuisine with a Guinness twist and you can’t miss the souvenir shop and its selection of branded goods.

Giant's Causeway and Game of Thrones exhibition tour from Dublin

روز 3 - Excursión los lugares de rodaje de Juego de Tronos desde Dublín incluida la Calzada del Gigante
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: The Dark Hedges, Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

At the Dark Hedges you'll have around 15 minutes to stroll beneath the dramatic arched trees, snap photos of the natural wonder, and hear from your guide why it was chosen for the scene of Arya's nail-biting escape from King's Landing.

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Antrim Coast Road, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

As we drive from the Dark Hedges to our next location, we follow a route known as the Antrim Coastal Drive. Enjoy the spectacular scenery including stony shores, densely wooded glens and the village of Bushmills, which is best associated with Bushmills whiskey.

Stop At: Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Spend around 1.5 hours admiring the spectacular landscapes, made up of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. The “stepping stones” leading from the cliff foot disappear under the sea. They reappear in the Island of Straffe in Scotland, hence the legend that this was a road built by the Irish giant Finn McCool to enable him to cross over to Scotland. Truly an amazing wonder of the world!

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Ballintoy Harbour, Ballintoy, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Hear how Ballintoy Harbour served as the location for Theon Greyjoy's return to the Iron Islands, as well as scenes, such as Theon's baptism, Euron's crowning, and the burial of Balon Greyjoy. Our guide will also tell you what happened behind the scene and how the locals reacted.

Duration: 40 minutes

Pass By: Glens of Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Another unique part of the tour will be going across the Glens of Antrim with amazing panoramic views, instead of driving around them, on the way back to Belfast.

Stop At: City Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland

Your last stop is Belfast, where you'll have around 45 minutes of free time to admire the city sights, stretch your legs, or grab some snacks.

Duration: 45 minutes
