Hard Rock Cafe Roma

day 1 - Menú Diamond
The biggest rocks in Rome may be at the Forum but by far the best rock is at the Hard Rock Cafe Rome. On top of the tastiest burgers and coolest cocktails in town, you can savour an unbeatable music memorabilia collection that includes items such as the trench coat worn by John Lennon during anti-war protests in the Seventies, a leather suit worn by Bono during U2’s the Zoo TV Tour and an electric guitar designed by Eddie van Halen.

Like all great revolutions, the Hard Rock Cafe wasn’t meant to succeed. It was 1971 and as the Swinging Sixties had given way to the Super Seventies, fashions and tastes were changing. Two hungry young Americans were in London and couldn’t find a decent place to eat a decent burger… so they opened up a joint in the English capital. Their landlord didn’t think it would last and gave them just a six-month lease. Four decades later, there almost 200 Hard Rock Cafes in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The first T-shirt hit the streets in ‘74 and the first piece of memorabilia came, fittingly, by chance in ‘79 when Eric Clapton asked to hang his Lead II Fender guitar over his favourite bar stool and thus mark as his spot. Today, the rock 'n' roll collection has more than 74,000 pieces and is the largest of its kind. By 1982, the Hard Rock Cafe had gone global and the rest, as they say, is history (that’s still being written)!

About the city

Of all European capitals, London lives deepest in the imagination of travelers. We absorb London before we know it exists and when we finally approach the city, it does not disappoint. There are the red double-deckers, the bobbies and impassive guards at Buckingham, Westminster Abbey, and the notes of Big Ben, sounding familiar, as we have heard them before. We see these things with satisfaction. Yet there is much to surprise. London is not quaint. London is not a museum, though you could spend all of your time going from one to the next. It is a booming, urban sprawl, with traffic snarls, shops, and an astonishing international population. Visit the many monuments with nearly a millennium's worth of history, from the grave of Chaucer to the pub where the captain of the Mayflower drank to Piccadilly Circus, one of London’s most photographed sights. But don’t miss contemporary London, with its intensely active theatres, international cuisine, political demonstrations, the latest in music and fashion, punks and peers, and everyone in between. In 1777, writer Samuel Johnson said when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life, and the phrase is still true. There's something different to experience every day in London.

About the city

Capital city of Germany, Berlin is one of the most thrilling and the most historic place in Germany and in Europe. No other German city has more "visible" history to offer, despite all the scars of WW2 and the division during Cold War times. No other German city has such a rich cultural life. Berlin's architecture is quite varied. It is now possible to see representatives of many different historic periods in a short time within the city center, from a few surviving medieval buildings near Alexanderplatz, to the ultra-modern glass and steel structures at Potsdamer Platz. Because of its tumultuous history, Berlin remains a city with many distinctive neighborhoods. Belin has so many faces. It is attractive, cosmopolitan, multicultural and multiethnic city with very friendly locals and lots to do and see.

City circle tour hop on-hop off

day 14 - Linea amarilla y paseo en barco
Create your own personal vision of Berlin with the city circle tour hop on-hop off tour. Discover the bustling German capital at your leisure with any one of these three options: the 24-hour Yellow Line; the 24-hour Purple Line; and the 48-hour Bictic, which combines the Yellow and Purple lines.

The Yellow route operates daily all year round and has stops at 18 famous Berlin landmarks. Hop off at Museum Island and visit the Pergamon Museum, where the stunning reconstruction of the Ishtar Gate from ancient Babylon is housed. Maybe even enjoy a boat ride or head to the regenerated Potsdamer Platz, which was the heart of the city before the war and became a no man’s land after it. Alight at Kurfurstendamm or Friedrichstrasse and make the most of Berlin’s excellent shops and boutiques. The full circle takes about two hours.

The Purple route runs daily from April 1 to the end of the year and it covers themes such as the Berlin Wall and the many of the city’s hidden corners. It offers you a behind-the-scenes look at life in the German capital, which has long had a hedonistic streak starkly at odds with the perception many have of Germany.

The Bictic Tour is available daily from April 1 to the end of the year and allows you to combine the Yellow and Purple lines over two days. It offers an unbeatable way to explore Berlin’s many sights and attractions at your own pace.

Meeting/pick-up point: Any of the stops.
Duration: Full circle takes approx. two hours. The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours.
Departure times: From April to October every 10 minutes from 10am to 6pm (last departure for a full circle is at 4pm). From November to March every 15 minutes from 10am to 5pm (last departure for a full circle at 3pm).
