Experience Sydney’s grandest tradition this New Year’s Eve, with divine music and exquisite singing under the sails of the Sydney Opera House.

The New Year’s Eve Opera Gala is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of 2019. It is an evening of glamor and spectacle, heightened emotions and beautiful music. Songs from masters such as Verdi, Bizet and Puccini will be performed by a fantastic line-up of opera stars, accompanied by the Opera Australia Opera Orchestra in an unforgettable evening of operatic hits.

The Opera Gala includes a perfectly timed intermission so you can watch the 9pm fireworks from the Opera House’s exclusive viewing points on Sydney Harbour. Please note, the Opera Gala ends around 10:30pm, leaving plenty of time to make it to your next New Year’s Eve destination before midnight.
